Don't Wait Buyers--- If It Feels Right--- It is.

I love helping buyers find their dream home. I don't always love when my buyers don't see the right one, right away. As a Realtor, many times we "know" the house before you do. A great buyer's agent should ask enough questions about your likes and dislikes and get to know how you live in a home so that when "The One" comes along we are ready to jump as quickly as you are!

The worst is when we "know" it and you don't see it until it is under contract.

Of course, I would never tell you you are missing out because that is rude and it isn't my job to talk you into a home. The thing is, this typically becomes the turning point in home buying. This is when you as the buyer realize that sometimes waiting is the worst thing you can do.

Like the time when I know I had to have this Leopard Coat I LOVED but knew husband doesn't care for animal prints so I left it at the store. Then I thought about it all night. I even dreamed about it. The nex…

Choosing Your Signature Scent

The other day I walked into an Ulta for the very first time and was terribly overwhelmed. Ulta is a shopping meca for anyone who loves beauty products. The store is a "God" to all who want to smell and look beautiful The store houses hundreds of fragrances, makeup by the thousands and skincare for the scared. Need a hairdryer, curling iron or a straightner? One place stop girls! I am may be the last person on Earth who has been in Ulta but that one trip will not be my last.

My mother and I were entranced in the fragrance department and wandered up and down and around the aisles in search of a scent we could call our own. I am interested in purchasing Joe a new cologne for Christmas and I may have chosen one. How wild does your nose go while in the fragrance department though? Here are a couple of tips I have learned on choosing the scent for yourself.

Don't Rely on Those Blotting Papers: Your chemistry is different than that piece of paper. When you spray the fragrance on yourself, the perfume is going to take on different notes from your skin.

Do Smell From A Few Inches Away: Wearing perfume is about smelling great but not just for yourself. Smelling the fragrance from a couple of inches away will allow you to make sure the fragrance isn't too strong. If you can smell it without bringing your wrist inwards towards your nose, you may be irritating to others.

Don't Wear Perfume While Shopping For One: This is a hard one but you do not need to mix your fragrances while deciding on which ones to buy. Your skin needs to be clean and smell free.

Do Take Home A Sample: Dab it own for a couple of days before deciding it is the one. You are going to spend a bit on a fragrance, might as well be one your really enjoy.

I hope these tips help. Please feel free to share other tips you have!
