Don't Wait Buyers--- If It Feels Right--- It is.

I love helping buyers find their dream home. I don't always love when my buyers don't see the right one, right away. As a Realtor, many times we "know" the house before you do. A great buyer's agent should ask enough questions about your likes and dislikes and get to know how you live in a home so that when "The One" comes along we are ready to jump as quickly as you are!

The worst is when we "know" it and you don't see it until it is under contract.

Of course, I would never tell you you are missing out because that is rude and it isn't my job to talk you into a home. The thing is, this typically becomes the turning point in home buying. This is when you as the buyer realize that sometimes waiting is the worst thing you can do.

Like the time when I know I had to have this Leopard Coat I LOVED but knew husband doesn't care for animal prints so I left it at the store. Then I thought about it all night. I even dreamed about it. The nex…

Talking Style

Today around the time Douglas came home from school, I was just back from a lunch at Opus where my mom and I treated a good friend to a belated lunch date and a quick stop at a new outlet in town. While unpacking a few finds from the store and hanging them in my closet I figured the time was right to clean out some of the junk that has been hiding in there for a bit.

The time has come again in my fashion world where I hate everything I have bought in the past year. Everything is too ModClothy, to Ruchey... too colorful. I am in a black and white stage in my life right now with a hint of pastel pink. Is it the weather outside or the pudge I feel around my stomach from quitting smoking almost a year ago? I am not sure but at this point I am telling everyone I am only buying black and white at this point. This goes for clothes only and not jeans. I still love dark blue denim. Accessories can be other colors but mostly sticking with just black and white for awhile with a punch of pale pink when I feel the need.

How about you? Are you in a style rut right now or are you happy with your closet? I am loving these right now.
