5 Reasons Buying a Home is Better Than Renting!

Lighthouse Trippin

What a great weekend. The girls and I headed out after Sage completed her tryouts for the cheer squad at Berkeley. She MADE it!! We picked up a quick bite to eat from Chick-Fil-A and headed to the beach. We arrived around nine o'clock and enjoyed the back deck with my parent-in-laws. Drank some wine and headed in to bed.

The next morning Susan and I headed out with the girls to check out Bodie Island. We haven't been there in years. Since we returned, you can now climb the lighthouse. We were short on time so we didn't sign up to climb it. They have also repainted it and added a nice walkway out over the marsh areas where you can see Blue Crab, Herons and fish swim in their habitat. Watch out for the snakes though!

Here are a couple of shots from this magnificent Lighthouse.
