It's Showtime! What To Do and What Not To Do

The sign is up and you are ready to show your home off! In any market, a hot one or not, you need to have your house prepared to show as soon as you are live! What should you do and not do for a showing?

Upgrades and Repairs:

If your home has undergone some major changes since you purchased your home, you may want to list these out. Many people will never even look at these but if they are interested they will. Upgrading your brass knobs on your kitchen is not a big deal to the buyer, but a new furnace, hot water heater or brand new roof is. Any transferable warranty should also be noted.

The list doesn't have to be long as I've stated, most people will not even notice it unless they do and if they do, they are not going to read a long list. A simple record is fine. If a professional was called in to do work, show receipts.

Neighborhood Info:

Visit Windermere Island: Stay at Surf Song

Visit: Windermere Island in the Bahamas
Stay: Surf Song

Windermere Island is a small, five and a half mile long island located in the Bahamas. Connected to the large island of Eleuthera by a short bridge protected by a guardhouse. The five mile beach of Windermere is protected by a five mile reef rich in fish and flora. Jacques-Yves Costeau, famed French conservationist, was said to have considered this to be one of the most beautiful in the world.

Surf Song offers a casual atmosphere to vacation where it is said British Royalty is helicoptered in when they visit. Designed for maximum viewing pleasure, all four bedrooms and living quarters of Surf Song open to a wide veranda steps from the ocean. All of the bedrooms are en-suite so no need to share with others. Winnie, the housekeeper, provides daily housekeeping services.

Because of your stay in the exclusive community, you are welcome to access to Club at Windermere. During peak months, dinner and lunch are served in the dining room. Often buffets and barbeques are set up at the pool. A game room, lending library, large pool and two tennis courts offer year round enjoyment.
