What's My Home Really Worth--- The Question We All Want Answered!

There are really just two major considerations when you determine the appropriate value for your Williamsburg VA property: market value and appraised value. This is where many people get confused on value--- So many people will say, “The assessed value is X, so that is what it is worth”. This is so not accurate. Many times a house will sell more than the assessed value as the assessed value is what the city/ county taxes you on. I’ve seen houses sell 30,000 over their assessed value and no one wants to leave money on the table. Do you? I didn’t think so! So let’s go back to the two values I was talking about earlier! Market value is the value that a buyer…today…is willing to pay for your home. The most effective way to determine market value is to look through the prospective buyer’s eyes---they are the ones you need to impress. Positioning your home properly among competing inventory is a critical step, and it’s important that your agent devotes the time necessary to stud

With three girls all around the age range of needing a phone, Walmart is helping us save our green and find the gold.

The oldest girls have been using a phone service for awhile
in which we've had to ultimately put a cap on their data. Kids these days are very communicative and inundated with social media. Ava, our youngest has
been talking about wanting a phone lately but we hadn't found the right plan for her to be on.
She has been working very hard for the Short Course State Finals in Richmond and to congratulate her, her dad and I felt it was time she had her own phone. With five day a week practices, allowing her to have a phone in case of an emergency was becoming a necessity. (You never know when crazy things will happen: Just today a tree fell on our car while we were in it!)

When we let her know she was getting her own phone like her sisters, she was ecstatic.  With Walmart's Family Mobile's NEW 4G LTE service, Ava has all the Unlimited Text, Talk and Data she needs (up to 500MB of 4G LTE data) at only $29.88(for the first line) a month.

We drove to our neighborhood Walmart, found the Walmart Family Mobile Display and began the search for the phone that would be the first phone for Ava. She wound up choosing the Alcatel Evolve 2. It is a smartphone with web capabilities and feels right nice when you hold it.

Going to State Champs with the new phone was an experience for Ava. It was nice to be able to reach her in the locker room after the meet was over. While we waited patiently outside for her to shower and dress our stomachs growled for lunch. I popped her a text asking when she was going to be ready. She responded easily with the touchscreen letters and let us know she was barely out of the shower. As fast as a swimmer as she is, in other areas she is pokey.

She is loving the new phone and we are loving the price!
