It's Showtime! What To Do and What Not To Do

The sign is up and you are ready to show your home off! In any market, a hot one or not, you need to have your house prepared to show as soon as you are live! What should you do and not do for a showing?

Upgrades and Repairs:

If your home has undergone some major changes since you purchased your home, you may want to list these out. Many people will never even look at these but if they are interested they will. Upgrading your brass knobs on your kitchen is not a big deal to the buyer, but a new furnace, hot water heater or brand new roof is. Any transferable warranty should also be noted.

The list doesn't have to be long as I've stated, most people will not even notice it unless they do and if they do, they are not going to read a long list. A simple record is fine. If a professional was called in to do work, show receipts.

Neighborhood Info:

Not everyone looking at your home is familiar with the area. Show off your neighborhood with any information you have such as if there is …

With three girls all around the age range of needing a phone, Walmart is helping us save our green and find the gold.

The oldest girls have been using a phone service for awhile
in which we've had to ultimately put a cap on their data. Kids these days are very communicative and inundated with social media. Ava, our youngest has
been talking about wanting a phone lately but we hadn't found the right plan for her to be on.
She has been working very hard for the Short Course State Finals in Richmond and to congratulate her, her dad and I felt it was time she had her own phone. With five day a week practices, allowing her to have a phone in case of an emergency was becoming a necessity. (You never know when crazy things will happen: Just today a tree fell on our car while we were in it!)

When we let her know she was getting her own phone like her sisters, she was ecstatic.  With Walmart's Family Mobile's NEW 4G LTE service, Ava has all the Unlimited Text, Talk and Data she needs (up to 500MB of 4G LTE data) at only $29.88(for the first line) a month.

We drove to our neighborhood Walmart, found the Walmart Family Mobile Display and began the search for the phone that would be the first phone for Ava. She wound up choosing the Alcatel Evolve 2. It is a smartphone with web capabilities and feels right nice when you hold it.

Going to State Champs with the new phone was an experience for Ava. It was nice to be able to reach her in the locker room after the meet was over. While we waited patiently outside for her to shower and dress our stomachs growled for lunch. I popped her a text asking when she was going to be ready. She responded easily with the touchscreen letters and let us know she was barely out of the shower. As fast as a swimmer as she is, in other areas she is pokey.

She is loving the new phone and we are loving the price!
